On Saturday, the winner of last year's Frank E. Kilroe Mile at Santa Anita, Milk it Mick, will be making his first return to the tracks following a nine month layoff.
Trained by Jim Cassidy, Milk it Mick placed sixth and in his final race of 2006, the Grade I Shoemaker BC Mile last May, and required surgery to his cannon bone afterwards.
Sixth place in last year's Kilroe, Charmo will also take another stab at it. Charmo finished second in the Shoemaker Mile--and third place in the same race, Silent Name, will give it a try for the first time.
