Winning the 1 1/8 mile Grade 2 Santa Ana Handicap by 5 1/4 lengths, four-year-old filly Citronnade set a new best time for the turf stakes in 1:46.21. The Bobby Frankel trainee was a 4-5 favorite and piloted in front-running style by David Flores.

Conveyor's Angel was second and 2 1/2 lengths in front of third place Memorette.

At odds of 9-2 in her previous race, Citronnade won the Grade 2 San Gorgonio Handicap by three lengths. The $90,000 Santa Ana victory raises her earnings to $342,800 and her record to 6-2-0 in nine starts.
